Welcome to Rontreal.com! This website began as a blog sharing my experiences throughout the wonderful city of Montreal, Quebec back in 2010. Many moons and a licence to give guided tours in the city later, the website has sprung back to life to not only include blog entries about food, culture and all-things Montreal, but also as a promotional tool for the many tours that I would like to offer to all those visiting my great city.
Just like its domain name rontreal.com, I believe that I am a witty and playful person who continuously tries to find hidden gems and must-see areas and events in the city. Ronny in Montreal = rontreal, get it?

ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Montreal, I have lived in the city my entire life and developed a passion for it at a very young age. I was one of those marketing professionals that grew tired of everyday office life and now find myself promoting the city that I love. Ever since I obtained my Montreal tourist guide licence in 2017, I have worked extensively for various agencies and given private tours by coach, car, and foot.
While I do have a wicked sense of humour, I am also a person with many interests and can engage with travelers and locals alike on many levels. I am a foodie at heart and I love talking about food and the culinary treasures that Montreal has to offer. Where can you find the best fried calamari in the city you ask? I know a place...
